One couple reportedly had an Elite Activity meeting at their church, authorities raided it and the was pastor placed under arrest and now the now the couple is paying big legal fees. 14 June 2005 -- Stanley Van Etten, the former CEO of International Heritage Inc., pleaded guilty Friday to 2 out of 70 federal charges brought against him in connection with a 1998 SEC shutdown of IHI. 8 May 2005 -- Ted Kennedy and Henry Waxman recently attacked You and DSHEA over the court ruling that Ephedra couldn’t be outlawed by the FDA because the FDA did not have the right. Ephedra has been used for 5000 years and is the only way known to lose weight. The FDA had submitted to the court their phony trumped up lying studies on what they called the “danger” of Ephedra.
Judge Campbell hearing the case said, the FDA’s definition of “unreasonable risk” and the FDA risk benefit analysis was “improper.” She basicially said if the same FDA analysis were applied to potato chips they might be prohibited too. Kennedy and Waxman who love big drug companies that also kill Americans went berserk and are calling for the destruction of DSHEA. Let’s save American lives and get this Drunk (Kennedy) and FDA Godfather (Waxman) out of Congress!
